Mark Yarnell - Have You Got What It Takes? I was fortunate enough to meet up with Mark Yarnell in Auckland when he came to New Zealand in the 1990's. We were both in Nu Skin at the time. Keep an eye on the Support section in the "Good Stuff" section!Let me tell you a story about a guy I met in another networking business. Mark Yarnell, a minister in a small town in Texas, was headed for bankruptcy and just about to loose his car and his home. He looked for a way out and discovered Network Marketing. However, he had a very smart sponsor. The sponsor gave Mark the PROMISE; This business can set you free financially in one to three years. But he also gave him the PRICE; There are FOUR Major enemies / challenges -- you will have to face and conquer in order to win. Mark said, "It's a deal". He then invited 200 of his friends over to his house to watch a video. 80 said, "No, not interested." (The First enemy -- REJECTION) Again, Mark said, "No problem, my sponsor warned me about that. I've got 120 people still coming over." Guess what? 50 didn't show up. (The second enemy -- DECEPTION.) Again Mark said, "No problem, my sponsor warned me about that. I've got 70 people who watched the tape." Guess what? 57 said, "not interested." (Enemy number 3 -- APATHY.) Again, our trusted warrior said "No problem -- 13 people signed up!" Guess what? 12 of them dropped out of the business within a short time. (Enemy number 4 -- ATTRITION.) Mark said, "Hey, I've got one serious member left. Guess what? I WIN!" That member earns Mark over $US50,000 a month to this date. (that was approximately 1989) Here's the moral of the story: Mark Yarnell was 1 out of 200. What will your numbers be? You won't know until after the fact. That's the catch!! You've got to do it first, then you will know. If you knew the odds up front, there would be no problem.
